I’ve got mixed feelings in the making of this album –“Kept On Walking”. Firstly, I’d like to talk about my producer, Ravi the Rat, a 30+ Indian who’s also the former producer for Jacyln Victor’s (Malaysian Idol 1 champion) very first album. We were introduced by a friend and according to Ravi, I was the 67th singer that he has auditioned. He immediately chose me to work with after hearing to me sing. Everyone will definitely be happy at this opportunity, however, I was skeptical…
Around the same time last year, I met a guy who is similar with Ravi in terms of age and horoscope. He told me that he wanted to help me produce my album, giving me lots of hope but he took back his words at the very last minute. Though it wasn’t a very big disappointment, it was a bad experience and I’ve learnt to be wary of similar situations. I’m afraid that history will repeat itself. Through each stage of production, from composing, photoshoot, recording, I’ve constantly has this fear in the back of my mind. Up till the stage after I finish recording the last song in the studio, it was a big relief! This time it’s real! (more…)

This is the first time I entered such a large-scale singing competition. It took all the courage that I have to finally make this decision. Even though I’ve been singing for so many years, I was still very nervous knowing that I need to face some professional judges. I suppose everyone whom have watched my audition in the competition would know that I was so nervous until I forgot the lyrics.
A lot of people might remember it differently, saying that I looked calm and composed during the audition. In actual fact however, I’ve never felt so nervous in life. I trembled at the thought that I was about to being judged by two of the very top professional judges in this country, Paul Moss and Syafinaz Selamat. I prepared for the worst. Lucky for me, both judges liked what I’ve sang and both gave me the chance to progress further into the competition. (more…)

I was invited by my best friend, Suki Low, to attend her birthday bash party which was held at RedBox karaoke in Sogo. Although it was not as crowded as I expected, the party atmosphere there was great! We celebrated and also played some games with the fans. I also got to perform 2 of my new songs from my upcoming debut album – The Haunting & A Pair Of Shoes. I’m very pleased with the great response. A great big thanks to all the fans for the great support! (more…)
